Human Resources Administrator
Job Description:

Genesis Communications is seeking a full time HR Generalist to assist in providing HR Support. The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the organization in the area of recruitment, performance management, employee relations, employee counseling and disciplinary actions while practicing HR Best practices and facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior Management.

The HR Generalist/Administrative Assistant will:

Proactively recruit personnel and ensure the selection of the most qualified candidates

Process all background, drug and personality profile testing to all candidates for hire

Work with Director of Operations to prepare compensation plans and Job Descriptions for each position

Maintain employee files
-
Process New Hire paperwork and ensure all required documents are completed

Issue employee numbers and grant access to various programs required for each position

Implement and administer employee policies, Identify ways to improve policies and procedures and monitor compliance program as required

Provide New Hire Orientation
-
Prepare counseling / disciplinary actions / terminations

Work closely with management and employees on all HR Related matters

Assist in Open Enrollment for Employee benefits
-
Process requests for FMLA
-
Serve as contact person for all UC Claims and provide testimony when required.

Comply with all Federal, state and local laws
Job Requirements:

Applicants must possess at a minimum:
​

Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources or 3 years’ experience in Human Resources Department, preferably in a high-line auto dealership

Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
-
Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion

Familiarity with MS Office suite or Google Office Suite
-
Excellent communication skills
